Watch "Goon" on Netflix

The movie that David made last year called "Goon" is now available on Netflix.com
David plays Ira Glatt
Movie description: Doug Glatt (Seann William Scott), a bouncer at a bar in Massachusetts, feels ostracized from his family, his father (Eugene Levy) and brother both being doctors. One day he attends a minor league hockey game with his friend Pat (Jay Baruchel). Pat taunts the visiting team during a fight and one of their players climbs into the stands, calling him a homosexual slur. Doug, in defense of his gay brother, quickly knocks him out, which prompts the rest of the crowd to cheer him on. Soon after, Doug gets a phone call from the coach of his hometown team who offers him a job as an enforcer, a player whose role is to protect his teammates and act as a deterrent by hitting or fighting opposing players who take liberties with his teammates.

Worth 1,000 Words

I love Amy Jo. This is from her twitter account.

The End of Flashpoint

At the beginning of this summer I heard that Flashpoint will be cancelled. After 75 Episodes the Award Winning Canadian police drama Flashpoint has been cancelled. As many of you know "Flashpoint" is about the ever so elite Strategic Response Unit (SRU). They deal with Hostage situations, bomb threats and frankly all round craziness. The series stars David Paetkau, Hugh Dillon, Enrico, Colantoni, Amy Jo Johnson and Sergio Di Zio. "Producing 'Flashpoint' over the last five seasons has been an exceptional adventure," executive producers Bill Mustos and Anne Marie La Traverse said in a statement. "We've been incredibly lucky to work with committed and supportive broadcast partners who have enabled us to reach many millions of fans across North America. While the series is still at its creative apex, we've decided to end the series on a high note, and give those fans the satisfaction of a fitting series conclusion in our 75th episode." "Flashpoint" has seen consistent ratings, averaging at 1.51 million viewers. Production of the final 13 episodes is set to wrap in June. "Flashpoint's" fourth season ended in December and a premiere date for the fifth and final season is not yet set. I am not sure what this means for the object of our love and affection David Paetkau, but all we can do is wish him the best. I am not back on the David Paetkau train, so I will continue to make regular updates.
